- Injuries to a police officer
Bogota: Officials say a police officer was injured in an attack on the United Nations office that oversees the Far-Rebels disarmament process in Colombia. Police said the attackers were attacked by a group of farm rebel groups in the Kaka division of the Kolota town in the southwest of Colombia. Officials said the attack was expected to be responsible for Marxist group rebels or militants belonging to the National Liberation Army (ELN). However, Kaka police officer Edgar Rodriguez is saying that the ELN Groupe is responsible for the attack. The ENEN Group is the only one struggling against the government in Colombia. While this group struggles with the government on the one hand, it is trying to negotiate peace talks. In a statement on Sunday, the United Nations said that their attackers, national police personnel and ex-farmer rebels in Colato had become victims.
