Abbasi's election as Pakistani Prime Minister
The National Assembly of Pakistan has chosen Shahid Khakhwa Abbasi as Pakistan's prime minister. Abbasi Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was elected as the prime minister in the case of the Panama Lieutenant (Naxal) case.
In the national assembly, the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) candidate, Abbasi, 221 votes, Pakistani Peoples Party (NPP) candidate Navid Khamar 47, Pakistani Tehreek Axaf leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmad 33, Jamaat No Islamic candidate for Tariqula Four votes were received. Speaker Sadiqi asked Abbasi to speak to the House as Prime Minister. Abbasi said, "The Supreme Court's verdict on Sharif has been seriously blamed. Sheriff's house is still going to come but still is the people's prime. President Mamnoon Hussein sworn with Abbasi as prime minister in the next presidential palace.
Abbasi is coming soon after Shehabaz Sharif
Abbasi is only temporary prime minister until the election of Punjab Chief, Nawaz Sharif's brother, Shehabaz Sharif, is elected to the National Assembly. Subsequently, Shekhab will be elected as the National Assembly Speaker.
